Zip is about as solid for a four-year-old as you will find. Not only in his muscle definition and conformation, but in his mature personality, ability and kind eye.

Zip has been involved in every aspect of ranch work: gathering, dragging calves at spring brandings, and roping calves, cows, and even bulls for pasture doctoring. We have used him to process cattle, tag calves, pull sleds of firewood to the house, doctor yearlings in backgrounding pens and of course, pull lots of kids on sleds.

Zip has been started on steers, heading and heeling and has stayed calm in the box.

Crosses water, logs, bridges with no problem and has been ridden by beginners. We can do pretty much anything and everything on him and he handles it all.

His pedigree has a long list of champions as well as great solid horses. His sire RODEO RESORT is a phenomenal tie-down roping horse as well as a barrel horse. His grand sire POPULAR RESORTFIGURE was a “super horse” as well as had multiple babies go to the NFR. His dam is a 1200 pound mare that was used as a rope and family horse all of her life. Her sire was competitive in the cutting arena as well.

Zip is home raised here at the ranch. We cannot say enough great things about this horse. We have felt so blessed to be able to work with these bloodlines over the years.
