2019 AQHA Gelding

15.1 HH

This one is Gorgeous, Grulla and Gentle gelding! You won't find one quite like Smurf on every street corner.

This big, strong made gelding is a showstopper with his flawless looks, big kind eye, and silver color. His disposition is the absolute sweetest. He's a lover boy through and through. He will lower his head into your chest for hugs and rubs. Smurf wants to do no wrong and is a people pleaser. He is so enjoyable to ride in and out of the arena.

With a great reining foundation he has perfect lead departures, pretty spins, an easy lead change, good side pass, and a deep stop. He has the most comfortable jog and smooth, slow lope. He has a great extended trot and looks really fancy going around the arena! He would definitely get you noticed in the show pen and would excel in Ranch Riding, Ranch Trail, and Rail or Western Dressage.

You don't ever have to worry about Smurf doing anything silly or malicious. He's been with us since his 3 yr old year and he's always been kind, quiet and safe. Even with months off he's always gentle to saddle, mount up and go.

Smurf is the best outside. He's not spooky or watchy in any way and absolutely amazing to cruise down the trails. From TX ranch country to the AZ desert, he's been in lots of country and seen the sights. He is confident alone and will walk back to the barn on a draped rein.

Smurf is a hand around the ranch as well. He's fun to gather pastures, sort cattle and can hold anything your cowboy/cowgirl enough to rope. He will side pass up to all the gates, ground tie where you drop a rein and lay down with a touch of the finger to mount.

Smurf is very easy to catch in the pasture, his ground manners are perfect, and he is simple and easy to own. You won't need an owners manual, there are no tricks or vices to sort out, just own him and enjoy the ride. If you need a right-hand-man out on the ranch, a partner in the show pen, or a confidence builder out on the trails, and a best bud in the barn, Smurf will check those boxes. His unique color is just a bonus!
