Slider is every horse owners dream wrapped up in the perfect little roan package. Double-bred SHINING SPARK, there is nothing you won't love about this gelding.

Slider is the perfect size for the whole family. He is as handy broke as you could ever want one, with an extensive resume and just 7 years old. Originally started in the feedlot as a 3 year old, he was used to open and close gates, ship fat cattle, rope and doctor calves in the pens. The following year he was our go-to for doctoring yearlings out on cornstalks, tagging calves in the pasture by himself, and then summering grass calves. As a 4-5 year old he was shown in Ranch Horse Versatility, Cutting, and then started heeling out of the box. His 6 year old year he was used on a 20,000 acre ranch in Montana to gather, sort, doctor, and move both cows and yearlings.

Slider knows a long days work and is the best babysitter for all of our nieces, nephews and now our own baby. He is the horse we have entrusted to carry us while babywearing our son, starting when he was just 2 months old.

Slider is the definition of versatile, not to mention he has a fun, in your pocket personality. Gets along with every horse. Been used to halter break weanlings and pony colts. If you want something the whole family can enjoy, who can be rode in and out of the arena, is just plain broke with an incredible mind, a beautiful color, and a nice pedigree, Slider is your guy.

Absolutely no vices, bad habits, or holes. We bought him from his breeder as a coming 3 year old with the intention to offer him as a broke horse in a couple years. We could have never imagined what a once in a lifetime horse he would turn out to be.

Courtney Piper

My name is Courtney Piper and I was born in Powell WY. My mother joined the military when I was 2 years old and my dad when I was 8. Having both parents in the military we moved all over the place but I was extremely fortunate to always have horses my entire life. In fact the thing that got me through the deployments and trainings was my horses and my sister. At 12 years old I saved literal pennies to buy my first weanling. I started and trained her completely by myself and absolutely fell in love with the whole process. I then began interning for a cowhorse trainer for 5 years before going to college. I graduated with an Associates degree in Equine Science and another in Equine Management. While in college I met my amazing husband who shared my passion but with a roping/rodeo background. Together we began breeding, raising, training, roping on and showing horses. After getting married we officially started our business, Milliron P Ranch, to do just that. We welcomed our first child, Ryle Bo, in February 2023. Although we have both worked countless jobs to make ends meet over the years, this year (2024) we have trusted God in making the decision to focus solely on our little family and growing business. We have worked tirelessly to build our dream from the ground up. We take a lot of pride in our animals and our reputation. Our goal is to use our talent and passion to continue making all around broke horses that can be enjoyed by all, in and out of the arena.
