Shiner is a stout built 15.2hh+, 5 year old, golden buckskin, registered AQHA gelding! He has a great pedigree with MR RED BARON, TWO EYED RED BUCK and SHINING SPARK on his papers.

Shiner has done it all while working at the feedlot, from sorting, to roping/doctoring, to loading trucks and penning.

He is no stranger to the bright lights, loud speakers and crowds as he has been hauled to ranch rodeos and competed in every event. He has done team sorting competitions and Shiner has been started out of the roping box. He has had reining training and would make an excellent horse for ranch shows.

Shiner is a pretty boy but he likes to get out on the trails and get dirty as well! He has been rode in rough, rocky country with steep elevations. He takes his time and picks where each foot goes as careful and thoughtful as a horse could be. He will cross deep water, boggy mud, slick rocky surfaces and ease over deadfall. Shiner is a laid back, gentle type of horse that is totally content to mosey along down the trails with the kids riding him and loves going on trail rides. He will cross creeks, ditches, logs and navigate rough rocky areas. He is safe riding through town and in all types of traffic. He has a smooth jog, a very nice lope, a good stop, spins both ways, sidepasses and backs with ease!

Shiner has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife and is not spooky. He has a lot of personality, he loves attention and has been ridden all over our ranch by the kids and he is sure to suit riders of all ability levels! Shiner is a horse that can do any job that is asked of him, do it with ease and look good while doing it!
