Dirty Steve is a super gentle and flashy 5 year old AQHA gelding that has seen a lot of sights.

He spent the summer of 2023 on 38,000 acres of lease pasture looking after 1,100 pairs. He's seen the big days of trotting long miles through steep coulees and rough terrain. He's sure footed in the rocks over logs, through bogs, and crosses water, and he does all of this while giving his rider all the confidence they need in his safety. His ranch resume includes dragging calves, doctoring alone, working bulls, sorting pairs, moving cows, opening and closing gates, and he's as willing as a horse can ever get.

His willingness extends from all his outside work into the arena where he's learning to be an exceptional head horse. He was started slow and right on a drag steer learning how to rate and be in the perfect position for every run. He graduated to slow and medium steers and transferred all his training extremely well. He scores solid, leaves flat and off your hand, puts you in the right position, moves off your leg, is strong on the horn, and has an incredibly fast and smooth face up. He has been to jackpots in Arizona and taken everything in stride there. He is ready to continue to advance in his team roping experience for anybody that is willing to take him there.

Nothing fazes this horse from traffic, tarps, flags, and wildlife. I even got to ride him inside a C.A.L Ranch store in Casa Grande, Arizona!

He bathes, loads, clips, ties, rides out alone, trailer's well, stands good for the farrier, catch him anywhere, and he's an in your pocket type gelding.
